Why Ann Arbor Christian?

To know and love Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and the truths that come with that conviction are the greatest gifts we can give our children.

CHALLENGING. FAITH.

Ann Arbor Christian School promotes an education that examines all areas of learning through the lens of the historic Christian faith. We provide an environment where faith is nurtured and the intellect can excel, and the two profoundly and intelligently reinforce each other. You don’t have to sacrifice academic excellence in order to get a Christ-centered education.

In our world today, the place of Christ-centered education is more essential than ever to help raise the next generation of Daniels – young men and women who, in the face of tremendous cultural change and pressure, will hold firmly to their faith and convictions, and employ them in a way that serves to enlighten, love, and transform the world we live in.

Hear From AACS Families and Teachers

-AACS Parent

Our biggest concern when looking at Christian schools was that we’d have to accept a subpar academic environment in order to educate our children in a place that supported our values and aligned with our faith. At AACS, we discovered a school where the pursuit of academic excellence was fully integrated within a culture that inspires and nurtures faith.

-AACS Teacher

Teaching in a Christ-centered manner means that both our words and actions express Jesus. It means that we discipline in a way that reflects Jesus, we teach content in a way that ultimately points to Jesus, and most importantly, we strive to help our students connect deeply and personally with the love of God as made known in Jesus.

-AACS Parent

The teachers at AACS are absolutely the jewel of the school. They care deeply about our kids, both academically and emotionally. Even as they challenge the students academically, they prioritize their hearts. Even in the midst of teaching a rigorous curriculum, the teachers are very attentive to students’ emotional needs, social dynamics, and spiritual lives. Our favorite thing about AACS is how the teachers truly see our kids.

-AACS Alumni Grandparents

It is with immense gratitude of heart that we say “thank you” to all the staff at Ann Arbor Christian. The education you gave our granddaughters at AACS was outstanding, and the Christian example each of you lived before them did not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your faithful investment in the lives of young people.

-AACS Parent

Our son finished his first year at AACS, and we couldn’t be happier with the transformation we have seen in him. He entered the school year with a lack of interest in learning, low confidence, and a negative attitude overall. Due to the community established by the administration and his teachers and the quality of education at AACS, he is leaving this school year a thriving young man. Our son is now confident, curious, a hard worker, a leader, and is positive about school and learning. Switching him to AACS was one of the best choices we have ever made.

-AACS Teacher

AACS serves far beyond service projects. As a teacher, I encourage and support the students throughout service projects to share God’s love with others in and around our community. But in the past several weeks, I have had the privilege to witness this community serve in their daily lives beyond school-wide projects. My husband and I have been blessed by meals, cards, prayers, and many hugs as we grieve the loss of my mother-in-law. I have never been more proud to be a part of this community. The families at AACS are more than students and parents; they are friends and family.
