Christmas ConcertA beautiful concert from all of our students yesterday sharing with parents, alumni, and community about Jesus being the light in our world. What a beautiful representation of God's love and presence in this Christmas season! "The whole world was lost in the darkness of sin; Like sunshine at noonday His glory shone in, Come to the Light, 'tis shining for thee; Once I was blind, but now I can see;
The Light of the world is Jesus; The Light of the world is Jesus. Sweetly the Light has dawned upon me, The Light of the world is Jesus."

Alumni Reconnect NightWe had a great turnout for our first Alumni Game/Reconnect Night. With alumni present, the AACS varsity boys basketball lost a tough game to Emerson 35-34. Afterword, the alumni joined in games of basketball, dodgeball, volleyball and eclipse ball. It was great to see so many former students (15 in total), to get a chance to catch up with them, and to see how God is working in their lives since they graduated from AACS.
Medieval FeastThis evening was the annual Medieval Feast, a hallmark event for our seventh graders as part of their social studies curriculum. It featured parents preparing food items for the feast, students playing different roles, several skits and re-enactments by students, and music, dancing, and sword-fighting from a professional medieval performance group.
Pilgrim DayOur fifth graders enjoyed a day of candle making, yummy foods, and historical sports for their Pilgrim Day. They came to school in their own costumes and were able to live a "day-in-the-life" of a pilgrim.
