How To Enroll

Before applying, we ask families to become familiar with our school. This website (especially the DVD on our home page) provides a detailed introduction to the school and summarizes our vision and educational philosophy.

Parents can contact the school office by e-mail office [at] annarborchristian [dot] org or call (734) 741-4948 to schedule a tour of the school. You are welcome to review the relevant (Preschool or K-8) application online, but we ask that you wait to complete the application until after your visit. You will receive an information packet during your visit that also includes an application and steps needed to enroll.

Summary:

1. Review the application and the needed recommendations.
2. Contact the school to schedule a tour.
3. After your tour, complete the application and submit to the school.
4. For grades 1-8, academic testing will be scheduled.
5. If needed, submit your application for financial aid (tuition assistance).
6. Schedule a family interview with the school.

If you are moving from out of town and are unable to visit the school, we can make other arrangements. Usually it takes two to three weeks to complete the application/enrollment process.

Open Houses & Tours

Each winter we have two open houses for families who are interested in sending their children to AACS. If you can not attend, please do not hesitate to call us to schedule a tour of our school. We welcome you to see our school in action.

The first of two Open House events at AACS during the 2011-2012 school year will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012. The daytime Open House begins at 9:00 a.m. and continues to 3:00 p.m. During this time, parents and their children may visit our classrooms to observe the excellent, Christ-centered education that happens here each school day. The evening Open House hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Families who come at this time (you are encouraged to come for both if you’d like to) will have the opportunity to see our Annual Science Fair and interact with classroom teachers and school parents. No reservations are necessary unless you plan to join us for the Soup Supper that evening. If you would like to eat with school families, please place your dinner reservations (a fund raiser for our eighth grade trip to Chicago) by contacting the school office by Friday, February 10 at (734) 741-4948.

The second of two Open House events at AACS during the 2010-2011 school year will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. The daytime Open House begins at 9:00 a.m. and continues to 3:00 p.m. During this time, parents and their children may visit our classrooms to observe the excellent, Christ-centered education that happens here each school day. The evening Open House hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Families who come at this time (you are encouraged to come for both if you’d like to) will have the opportunity to interact with classroom teachers and school parents. Children are invited to come along as well and join with other children in some fun games planned for 6:30 that evening. No reservations are necessary.
